Originally presented by PICA in 2006, and commissioned by ARTRAGE to return to the streets of Northbridge after recent successful international interventions, Reform is a unique interactive performance combined with radio narrowcast for a small audience on foot in the city streets.
Tuning in via headsets, audiences follow pvi’s elite antisocial behavior taskforce, the loyal citizens underground [l.c.u].
A radical vision of community watch gone awry, the l.c.u will patrol the Northbridge Festival for one night only, taking the moral high ground to see who else is willing to reform. Equipped with wireless microphones, CB radios, code of conduct cards and an overzealous enthusiasm for current legislation, laws and social standards, the l.c.u discover a ripe underbelly of civil disobedience amongst unwitting festival goers.
