One day a whole lot of people wake to find themselves imprisoned in a huge cube of yellow glass. How did they get here? Who has imprisoned them? Why? And why them?
The History of Glass tells the story of how they come to terms with their captivity, how they come to understand the nature of the cube of yellow glass, and how they eventually escape.
An allegorical story of Western Australia told in a cycle of 80 short prose poems by Mar Bucknell, with live soundscapes by Allan Boyd and projected live drawings by Stuart Reid, The History of Glass is the sequel to Bright Edge’s 2000 ARTRAGE Festival production Unawares.
