Knight’s new painting show is one of 1970s interiors. With subject matter ranging from regional church halls to airport lounges, this series combines building materials such as perspex, masonite and plywood with bright primary and pastel enamels. The paintings have an energy and simplicity that not only highlight the freedom of the decade, but also spaces which were 1970s disasters.
