When he paints, Dr. Heine takes images and ideas from his performances as well as from the internet and translates them into abstract paintings that are disarmingly charming. He creates his works through a highly sophisticated personal technique where paint is pushed from the back of the canvas through holes in the weave, forming congealed and brilliant patterns of tiny dots of colour that still somehow manage to retain a trace of their image origin.
